Just got a comp cam 228/232 with Pacesetter LTs and Offroad Ypipe. Made 383 rwhp on the dyno with stock 98 heads and ls6 intake. You can see in the dyno it doesnt really start making power until after 3k rpms is this something that can be tuned for?

I know a higher stall will fix this as this is with a stock stall converter. Im saving to build the trans up now

It feels sluggish in the lower RPM's other than that it's bad ***.

Numbers looks nice. I am about to have mine dyno tuned friday. I have a 233/239 cam and a 3600 stall, but looks like we have similar mods other than those. I hope I can break 380hp.

It idles about 1k and it pulls on the brakes a little, but thats due to the stock stall. Not sure about the A/F ratio, it wasn't on my dyno sheet. It bucks a little when its cold, but other than that its pretty polite.


Thanks, im at 130K so im happy with that. I'm pretty sure i can break 400 when I do something with my crappy stock heads.
