With 4.10's I would use 26" and not 28". If you had 4.30 or 4.56 then a 28" tire would be in order.

With his 6 spd keeping him in his sweet spot he won't need much more torque. Now launching, thats a different story!

Nice numbers!!! i don't think 3.90 is enough gear for that cam tho! Trust me proper gear is a must with that cam. I know a guy that put a t-rex in his 04 gto with stock gears and it only ran 13's. It felt like it had the power band of a 2 stroke dirt bike lol. I would suggest 4.10's with 26" tires or 4.56 with 28" tires like 87silverbullet suggested. I understand what detoxx was saying about not everybody wants a track gear, but the t-rex is a track cam lol,, needs to be set up correctly or the results will be dismal.

Thanks man! I am not sure on what heads I want yet. The funding for heads is not yet in the works, but based on some quick research and talking to Pat, most of my head choices may result in having to flycut the pistons

Anyone have recommendations without flycutting?

Thanks! and the car had never been tuned before. The car was extremely driveable on stock tune with the cam - it amazed many people at how well it idled.

Let me get a clutch and tires and I will start hitting up the track soon

Send me a PM if needed. I don't want to bad mouth publicly regarding the bad tuning experiences I had with my Camaro..
