Talking PatrickG Tuning Results

I told PatG I would post up LS1Tech back when I got the car tuned in August 2010. Overall my experience with him tuning the car was awesome. The car drives ******* great. I've dealt with 2 tuners here in San Antonio who could never get my old Camaro SS tuned right. Pat really took his time! We took it on 6 drivability tests, then 4 pulls. I told him the numbers I would be happy with, and he delivered!

Final Numbers: 449HP/408TQ

Mods are:

ARH 1-7/8'' Headers and ORY
GMMG Exhaust
FAST 102 Intake and TB
FTP 104MM Lid
FIC 36lb Injectors
T-Rex Cam
SD Tune
3.90 gears
Stock 241 Heads

Not suprised at the numbers. Trex cam is a proven performer!! Just needs a set of 4.56 gears

Awesome numbers for cam only. Now you need an upgraded rear with some 4.11 gears or steeper.

Man I know lol. I've been throwing numbers around ever since I saw this thread. What you mentioned heads wise or some Advanced Induction revised 243 LS6 heads would make that thing deadly.

Good numbers. I wouldn't make the gears any shorter unless you plan on going to the track much.

Yeah I might just keep them at 4.11s. I am not ready for the track yet as I still need some tranny work and a clutch. And some 16's with 28'' tires also!

Some people get caught up in short gears but forget that everyone doesn't build their car for just drag racing. Anyway your power numbers are close to mine but you gotta get your torque up dude lol so when I come to SA-Town we can run

If Pat G didn't tune it I would have a hard time believing those numbers. Have you had it to the track to see what it MPH's?

Those stock heads have to be maxed out because you have a killer intake/exhaust setup. Good results.

Thanks guys. No track times yet. We just got back from cars and coffee, and I have a buddy with some LS2 243s that may be taking them off soon for some new heads. I am hoping to grab em soon!
