How long should a dyno tune take?
It's a 228r cam 110 lsa. Full bolt ons minus ud pulley. Made 385rwhp and 378rwtq
You go to Brett or someone else? He didn't spend a lot of time on mine either, but it was better than the previous tune I had. Still has some idle hunt issues coming to a stop and fuel trims hang around 10%.
WOT is spot on though (at least if his wideband is correct).
Mine only made 365ish rwhp the first time, 350rwhp the second time but that's an unlocked automatic with a 12bolt, drag radials, chromoly steel driveshaft.
I'm going to learn to do it myself. I have EFI live and just bought a lc-1.

moral of the story...just because the car starts/drives good doesn't mean it is making the power it should. the car drove and idled the same after the final tune, but obviously made another 100hp or so.

Ons was 343hp and 357 tq and after was 385 and 378
Like I said the highest my car hit was high 360s, but everyone keeps saying my track speeds are pretty good so I don't worry about it much. Try to get to the track and get a trap speed.
I was asking if you got a run before he tuned it with the new cam? Do you have back to back dyno runs from the same day showing what your car was doing before he tuned it with the new cam and the after tune run? That would show you what the tune actually did for you at WOT.
He's a good guy though, this is the first time I ever had a mechanic or a performance shop done something to my car (dyno tune and then clutch) fwiw, he knows what he's doing and seem pretty knowledgeable abt it.
I don't mean to hijack your thread op but what do u think abt msd 8.5mm wires? He installed mine and says they are crappy, and the cause of the misfire was because cylinder 8 wire was touching the headers caused one fuse to blown hence the misfire
If you're not happy, and the car is kinda running poor go back for a touch up tune
Couple months later added 42# injectors, 85mm MAF/Lid got me to 419/382..
Car was dynoed on the same Mustang dyno with the same tuner
