you matched the power i made with afr 205 heads but i was on a stang dyno. I still would pay the more money for an afr or trickflow head due to i have not seen but one set up that made more power then i did on a 205 head on a stang dyno. However, the prc head seems to be a good head to buy if you don't want to spend or just don't have the money to spend on the top heads. The more results shown, the better they are looking. The prc head is not a head i would tell people to stay away from. Nice results on your set up. Now,lets really test the power and get down the 1/4mi.

Update:

Ran an 11.5 @ 120mph with a 1.75 60' with a DA of 2150 in full street trim after driving an hour and half to the track with A/C blowing Definitely think it's got 10's in it; it launched from 5200 rpms on DOT's for that 60' and bogged a bit off the line - 6200 busted it off the line but missed 3rd gear and didn't get time slip.

Time slip doesn't match the power.

What does the time slip suggest the power is / what does the power suggest the time slip should say?

Should be very bottom 11s with that 60ft but thats not the issue. Your trap is pretty low. Should be at least 3 or 4 mph higher.

Great numbers. best i've seen from those heads on a combo like that. Your mph don't match the power you put out. with a better 60 foot and the power you have(if the dyno was not giving out the numbers) you should be able to run a deep 11.0's sec at 125mph.

Yeah that would be my expectation as well - was really hoping for 10.8-11.0 @ 125+ but just never got it - probably need better DA to pull it off, but definitely think it's in her

That time isn't that bad for the da. You're running as good as a lot of cammed c5z's. Let the car sit for a few hrs next time or just put an elec. water pump on if you go back to that same track. You'll easily get an 11.0 at around 124 with practice and right conditions.

ET is not a direct reflection of power, MPH is. Hence the reason a 1000hp Supra can run 13's at 140mph.

I do agree the mph doesn't match the power. I was going 124-125mph with a 460rwhp heads/cam car with similar raceweight, similar DA, and all accessories still present.

Driving can also be a culprit for low mph. If your shifts are slow, you're going to lose 1-2 mph between each shift. I've jumped in peoples' cars that shift so slow I could eat a 5 dollar footlong in between them, and pick up 5mph on the first pass.

Too many variables to judge.

Could be the driver (looks disturbingly familiar, hehe) but weather could be a factor. It's been DAYUM hot in Texas, what were the on track temps? I wouldn't be surprised to see over 90 and high humidity, even that late.

Don't know "on track" temp, but it was well over 100* most of the day and the last run the weather reports had the temp still in the 80's at nearly midnight with a 2500 DA.
