Stock 01 LS1 with only a lid
We put it on the dyno, she made a hefty 298 rwhp. After some adjustments she picked up 42 rwhp. I have owned about 20 f-bodys and not one of them has dynoed 340 rwhp stock, it's an automatic so it has roughly 20% drivetrain loss. Which puts the flywheel hp @ 408.

I will, as soon as I put the 3:73s in it and put drag radials on the car.
The dyno is legit, I would only be bullshitting myself if it were not. I was very shocked myself. The dyno is a stingy bastard, but I guess it was free giving with me.

take it to the track... What kind of "Adjustments"???? better run 7.7x's in 1/8th at like 88mph with gear and tires at 3600 pounds

I'm taking my car to that tuner! LS-6 power from a LS-1. Putting a lid and coupler did seem to make quite a difference on my LS-1 Camaro. It was probably more seat of the pants feel than any other single modification I have done on any car I have owned (with the exception of nitrous). You should run it the way it is for a baseline.

My friend had a 99 Z28 stock with 2.73s, ran like 13.8@104 consistently. Put headers, dumped y, and lid on it and it ran 13.6@106?.
