.
Smokin ... how is the drivability on the stock tune? I have my car tuned for the 220 cam that i had in it previous to this one ... I am wondering how it is going to be on the 2 1/2 hour drive through NYC on the way to CT to get it tuned....

honesty if you drilled the tb to keep it running. you could almost never tune it as far as driving it. however for a/f reasons and for a extra 20 or so hp easier hot starts and other little things. id tune it. my 4.10's without a tune drive 10 times better than jasons 3.42's with a tune as far as getting the car rolling. so im anxious to see how it does with 4.56's and a tune.
if you dont mind giving it a tad bit of gas in traffic while stoped, you can drive it as far as you like.(i didnt drill the tb out) if you do then it will drive normally, just not be a full potential

Wow! Now that's some cool information. I would have never thought this cam would idle/drive on the stock tune, even in an M6.

id wont stay at idle uless you give a tad bit of gas or drill the tb. but you can definatly drive it for a few days.
for those of yall who are installing this cam. i made 10 more rwhp with true duals than with the dual 3" to 4" y-pipe. this cam seems to like duals.
funny thing is, jasons numbers were through the y-pipe

ok here is the latest. we have been so bussy that we havent had time to do a dyno tune on the car. i think geoff put jasons program in my computer and altered it a lil, but im sure we may find a few more hp. with some more time.
since i have no numbers yet on that tune. it may either be tomorrow morning or you will get track results first, which is all i really care about rite now.
here are the current mods. hopin to beat the 10.93 cam only record.
Thunder race headers
moser 12 bolt with 4.56's
28x10.5 et drags.
mcleod single disk(hope it holds up)
all the bmr suspension mods
pulley, ported tb and lid
custom 3.5 in aluminum d.s.
should weigh in around 3400 with me i hope.
as it currently is tuned it should come in around 420rwhp. not bad for a 12bolt with 4.56 gears.

ill post up the first track times for this cam monday evening.

It would take one hell of a driver in an M6.

the single disk will take it, mine took a bunch of nitrous launches without any problems.

good luck!
