I think you'll hit around 11.1-11.2 depending on traction and air of course Still good though

I figured that 420-430rwhp would be a more realistic amount of HP for this cam. Somewhat dissappointing.

I don't think it is going to happen. Don't get me wrong, I hope you do but it takes time to get the car all dialed in. You just can't slap a cam in throw on some slick. Install a 12 bolt and think you are going to run 10's. I say 11.35 -11.40 maybe if you are lucky.

jason went 11.2 on his factory motor with the tr230 cam at 3350 lbs. it all depends on how good the track is hooking and how good you can drive.
aint no way im going 11.40 unless track prep sucks totally.

He is running a 12 bolt with 4.56 gears though. That is still good IMO What were the actual dyno numbers?

I agree ... and this cam is definately still going in my car ..... I have just been telling myself it was only going to be good for 420-430 and not to get my hopes up for a 455rwhp cam only car .... then when the results came through I was somewhat dissappointed that I was correct.

430rw is definately good enough for me ... just that 455 would have been abit better.

Smokin ...
where are our soundclips???

I installed my T-Rex. Put it this way, the car sounds like a 9 second solid roller motor. Amazing man. When my car is tuned we are gonna post video's, dyno #'s and all. The tuning is key but even with 3.42 gears I can cruise @ 1,600 rpm without any bucking, idle on hot/cold starts is fine I leave from a dead stop by keeping the rpm's @ 1,000 then giving it gas to keep it rolling.

I could keep the 3.42's, the cam is very street friendly.

if i get 400-410 from my th400 car with 4000 stall, im gonna be silly!

then see what the 250 direct does to it.....

maybe it will not only sound like a 9 sec solid roller, but run like one!

I am happy to hear these driveability reviews With my extra cubes (16) it should help swallow up a bit of the lope as well.

I am wondering if it will be more street friendly than my 236/240 is. Mine is on an XE-R Lobe. Are these lobes as radical? How much valve train noise do you have with the T-Rex?
