'13 Grand Sport - 483-rwhp, camshaft + bolt-on parts only!
With a whopping 387 miles on our '13 Grand Sport Corvette, it was about time to tear into the engine and make some Vengeance Racing approved upgrades. Not that the GS was a slouch - not by any means - but here at Vengeance, we can always use a little more power...
Engine:
Vengeance Racing Kaotik camshaft - 235/243 duration, .621/.624 inches of lift cut on a 112 LSA
Vengeance Racing dual valve spring kit with Titanium retainers
Hardened pushrods
Comp Cams trunion upgrade kit (yes, even with low mileage!)
Katech C5R timing chain
Induction:
Vararam VR-SC1R Cold Air Induction system
This VR-SC1R Snake Charmer fits both the C6 Z06 and the Grand Sport and features and all new front air scoop, a billet MAF housing, high-quality cross link materials, and a new green high-performance air filter. The fit and finish on the new VR-SC1R is incredible. Really impressive work by Vararam on this system.
Exhaust:
Pfadt Tri-Y long-tube headers with a 3-inch non-catted X-pipe
3-inch ZR1 bi-modal cat-back exhaust system
Results:
With a 392.9-rwhp baseline, we were excited to see what the GS would pick up with the camshaft and induction/exhaust upgrades... When we spun the rollers and saw 483.85-rwhp and 453.51 lb-ft of torque, the entire Vengeance Racing crew was quite pleased! That's a gain of 90.95-rwhp and 57.4 lb-ft of torque.
Video:
Next up, we're going to install a set of Trick Flow Specialties 255cc CNC-ported LS3 cylinder heads to take us over the 500-rwhp mark. Stay tuned for more updates!

wowsers, I just baselined a '13 grand sport at work today and it made 355 as it's best. You guys must have one happy dyno. Sounds like good gains tho, grand sports do look great and white with black wheels is a combo that's hard to beat!

Great job VR
Here is a recent thread from CF showing them anywhere from 360rwhp to 400rwhp.

Hell 355 sounds like the lowest I've heard
