That is a 50 hp difference. Now lets take a step back. You origionall said that Lynda's card put down 409rwhp we can agree on that right. Then she would be around 455-460 in an M6. That was the origional numbers we were speaking of. Excellent numbers and nothing to sneeze at but no where close to 490. Not trying to prove anything except there isn't as much difference in dyno numbers between an A4 and a M6 as you might think. The only accurate way to exactly find out would be to swap trannys in the same car.
your absolutly right about camarocains car according to the #'s she probably wouldnt make the cut hp wise w/M6...all i was saying was that combo has and could make those #'s with an m6...jason from tsp posted a dyno where they made 472w/ that combo on an m6 car with an ls6 manifold then gained another 9hp over that when going with the fast...and remember camarocains car never made big #'s before her heads/cam i think like 310 before the new heads/cam setup so she basically made 100hp. I only wish i could make that improvement w/ my heads/cam though I know I wont

Tell ya what Spanky lets see once the specs are out,If I'm wrong I'll appoligize to u toot sweet but if I'm right u have to do the same for me..
You might want to start apologizing now. You've got about 1/4 of your numbers right. People think that since the X2 is this, that the X3 has to be way off from it. LG has said it themselves, the X3 is a X2 on steroids. This would tell me it was the same basis, just a little diffrent. You can put all the he said, she said stuff to rest. Spanky knows the specs, I know the specs, and maybe a few others know. If you don't have hard facts, you don't know. We do. I don't think I would try and argue with people who have a cam card sitting in front of them.
As far as this post goes, SmithsZ made 445 rwhp with the X3/114, not flycut, Patriot S2 LQ9 heads, through a 12-bolt, and a Yank 4200 stall.

Thank you, Beast. I think its gonna ruffle some feathers when the G5X3 specs come out, alot of people are gonna be scratching their heads, how a cam so much smaller than they thought it was could produce some of the numbers and ETs that it has. The G5X3 is a "medium" sized cam already, with all the new TR and TSP cams out. Lou should be flattered that everyone thinks his cam is so big, a true testament to how well the G5X3 works, IMO.

PS: What cam ya going with?

Made 447 rwhp unlocked with our Silver 2002 346......but the motor has JE pistons, so its not stock bottomend.

Back when I was the first to run 10's in a stock shortblock/a4 Ls1.....I made 437 locked up.....Stock shortblock, 226/226 cam, GTP 4.8 heads, pt4400....and mac headers/custom 3 inch y-pipe.

Car ran a 10.9 @ 123.5 @ 3420 pounds...with Ed Wright tuning...car never saw a wideband...that was a few years ago.

Just made 412 rwhp cam only auto, pt4600.
