Knowing just how damn stingy Blue Cat's dyno is, I bet it cracks 470rwhp/425rwtq on any other dyno jet in the country aside from a few that I know.

If anyone still isn't a believer in Advanced Induction's port work, if a set of "throw away" 241's that everyone calls garbage even CNC ported, can make these numbers.....well let's just say results speak for themselves.

Well said Martin, Ive seen ported sets of 243s not make this much power.

They can get 5.3 cores for just a bit more if you like.

In the OPs case he said AI had some sets of 241s laying around. You can send in yours but since its a DD Im sure you dont want the down time. Since 241s can be found so cheap, Id find a low mile set for $100 and then sell yours once you take them off.

The machine shop I'm using actually has an SF-600 engine dyno. If I were crazy, I'd send in my old 241s.

Put the TEA heads on and run it. Swap out the AI 241s and run it. Whichever makes more power keep and sell off the other ones.

Hmm lol.

Not to bash the OP at all but a LS6 vette just put down over 450whp with ONLY the Tick SNS Stage 3 cam (and exhaust)!!!

Comparing a 235/243 on stock 243s to a 241 head and 230/234 on mild lobes isnt much of a comparison IMO.

It isn't???? I'd say it's a closer comparison than you think. Those 241 heads are CNC ported; the 243's are not. Plus, there is a size difference between the cams, but not all that great.

Im well aware of both setups. Those were also STD numbers that were that high, has anyone seen the SAE numbers for that Vette yet?

Wasn't aware of the STD to SAE numbers. My point was simply the CNC ported 241 heads are probably worth an extra 20 to 30 hp over the stock 243's and the bigger cam is probably worth maybe 20 to 30 hp over the smaller one.

I hear you, different strokes for different folks. I personally wouldnt want a cam that big (even though it makes great torque along with being top end happy). 450 rwhp cam only isnt common and I think most of us are happy with 450 rwhp with a H/C setup.

Well you still need a good cam to get 450hp with H/C. I proved AI's cam's just don't cut it. A tick SNS stage 2 will probably do 450hp with H/C

Remind me of your setup exactly. I know you went with the 232cc 243s.
