700hp impala? An aquaintence of mine claims his dads 96 Impala SS has 700HP to the rear wheels WITH THE STOCK CAM and 100 shot, heads, headers, MAF, belows and not much else. He claims I was talking mess about his dads car and wants to race me. I told him after I see the 700hp or up dyno graph that we will race. Should I just race this man after I get my headers or is there any way in hell he has even close to 700hp? thanx.
Your buddy is full of ****. There's no way that land barge is making 700 to the wheels. Start talking **** back to him, and tell him that your lil ole 300 rwhp f-body will romp his Dad's ***!! 
Trust me, you'll roll that car easy, because it's obvious that dude has NO CLUE whatsoever what he's talking about. And besides, Impala's are so frickin heavy that, even built ones aren't really that fast. For example, a member of this board, I won't name names, has an Impy, and with a built NA 396 LT1, only runs bottom 12's @113. So, trust me, start talking **** back to this guy, and go out and walk his old mans boat!!!!

well I must say he is full of **** my 95 Ta with a 383 and all the works and a 200 shot only made 676rwhp and 842rwtq and I had everything imaginable to make that. Ive sold the motor and Im building a 423 LS1 to put in it now. so go race your friends Dad and blow his *** off the track.
