Default 477/427 StreetSweeper cam 06' vette

Stopped up at newera as saw this car, looked like a normal c6. Mike said it was getting a streetsweeper cam I dont have a underhood pic, not thats anyone would care but I think its really cool that it looked nothing fancy. I found it made this power and its bad *** Stock LS2 intake, stock TB, heads I think it was the stock air bridge even. Had a stock catback, stock painted wheels.

2006 C6 factory LS2
NewEra ported stock 243s, stock valves with a good valvejob
dual valve spring kit, and pushords like always
StreetStweeper Cam 236/240 .630.615 111LSA
NewEra ported TB. STOCK LS2 intake.
powerbound underdrive pulley
Long tubes, stock catback

Its a LS2 but still 427 wtq with a few mods. Ive seen 425+ wtq SBE LS1/LS2 a few times but it was ETP heads, alot of compression, great exhaust, great intake setup. Its got tons of places to gain more.

Nice numbers, FAST 102 and your choice of cat-back and I wouldn't be suprised if it hit the magic 500.

Those numbers are just insane...I'm only dreaming of getting those numbers with ported/milled LS3 topend. Streetsweeper FTW

good example of the heads and cam complimenting each other.very efficient ports/VJ to make that kind of power through OEM valves.i bet the flow#s would suprise most on here.
what's the CR?

I wasn't aware New Era ported heads. It's not on their website; or at least I couldn't find it.

Yup, they do. Mike was ported some while I was there. He was going to port some for me but I decided on AI.

It has cutouts and did 477 with them open. Did 470 with them closed quiet as a mouse through the stock exhaust. Save your money on the catbacks. Pulls like crazy lets just say its well broken in.

sweet! I havnt made it to the dyno yet, but I just put together a 07 with a howards baby cam (226/232 .578 115) and a set of TEA ported 799s. Ported LS2 intake and tb, headers w/ cats and b&b bullets. I cant wait to get numbers. WE tried to hit the local 1/8 on street tires but it might as well have been a wet track!
