Default My lid and cutout #'s

Dynoed 319hp and 329tq with cutout CLOSED

dynoed 323hp and 334tq with cutout OPEN

not bad, just lid and cutout in a 01 ws6 m6. cutout showed about a 3-4 hp and tq increase over entire curve. whatdya think?

hey, nice numbers. those are the same numbers i did with the exact same mods, only 335 rwtq instead of 334 (big difference there ). i have a 2000 though i wonder how much more the 01+ benefits would have helped me?

actually more than you'd think. Most likely around 15rwhp due to the ls6 intake manifold and ls6 exhaust manifold. Those are good numbers for a 2000! I was actually hoping for 330 or more, B/C I have run a best of a 12.57@113.9 with a 1.95 60ft. This year 12.72@112.5, but best 60ft of 2.06. Horrible track prep, but now people tell me it's hooking. Anyway congrats on your numbers, like I said very high for a 2000!

check the numbers in sig. I leave my cutout open since i got it on. I think that helps with the power. the computer adjusts for it open all the time.

From what I understand the exhaust manifolds are identical from '00-'02 and only the '98s/'99s were different. Based on that the only true gains would be from the LS6 intake and would probably be less than 15rwhp.
But maybe not.

Probably not a whole lot. Yes you would get the LS6 intake, but you would have a slightly less aggressive cam. And the 00-02 exhaust manifolds are the same. You might have dyno'd 5 rwhp higher.

you guys are right, same exhaust manifolds for 00-02. whoops. Anyway I'd say about 7-10 rwhp for ls6 intake.

Just confirming, you still have the stock ws6 exhaust?
