Default Finally cammed.

Graph in post 2

Finally got my car cammed and tuned. Car is a 1998 Formula It took me 2 and a half days to complete the cam swap. It is raining here still so I have not been able to really get on it. Big thanks to Chris(Chrs1313) for all the help with all my questions. Big thanks to Speed Inc for there help getting my parts together for the swap and a great tune. I can drive it at any rpm I did before the cam. Cant wait for the Open house at Speed Inc.

Mods are

Stock bottom end
Mti clear lid
LS6 intake
Si5 Cam 231/237 589/595
Ebay Long tubes
chrs1313 ram air (non a/c version)
PRC .675 Springs
ls6 oil pump
LS2 chain
Very crappy home made Y pipe
Thats it. Still need underdrive pulley and ported tb maybe even step up to
1 7/8 headers. That being said it put down 373rwhp 371rwtq.

Post the graph, seems kinda low for that cam. I searched and most were over 400 rwhp. What rpm did they take it to?

Did speed say it sounded about right? Did they select the pushrod length?

I agree that this seems low....

I'm looking to get this if not closer to 400 rwhp with a TR224 symmetrical cam.

This may be a stupid question, but is it tuned? Or did you just dyno it to get a baseline after cam'ing it? Either way still good power, just seems like theres some more to be gained.

Seems like a good gain to me comsidering previous numbers and your lack of quality supporting mods. It'll wake up with better supporters.

Strong gains from your previous numbers, ever plan to take it to the track?

I wouldn't live and die by dyno numbers
