maybe on a stock bottom end. I've seen a guy here locally who made 717whp on his TTi vette for several years now on a stock bottom end LS6. Well he blew that motor a while back but still it held up for a good solid few years with many mid 9's to low 10 1/4 passes.

Killer D1 set up, is the blower being overspun to achieve this hp?

No, I mean actually the stock block itself. I guess the folks at Hitech told me a long time ago that even with good internals, the blocks car squirm around enough to cause bearing issues and whatnot at higher hp levels. They used to fill stock blocks at a certain hp range (I thought in the mid-500 range) to try and keep the block together. Maybe this was all a dream I had? LOL.

maybe they are smoking the good stuff. Aluminum blocks are good up to 700hp on the average. (the block itself) before it really can start to distort and what not. Thats why if you want to make more then 700ish you should get with the iron block. Companies have new billet aluminum blocks though that can handle over 1000hp no problem. I think RHS is one of those companies.

My buddy from Kentucky just let me know that his low budget made 800+ through stock 243 heads on Bluecats dyno.

Pretty much same combo but a 2200, and 243 heads.

Seeing this now makes me feel bad about my results yesterday.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...dynod-car.html

I dyno'd 742/688 with spinning the D1SC close to max rpm, but only made ~17.3psi of boost. I'm wondering if going to some 1 7/8 headers would help, maybe a larger intercooler. I'm not looking for every detail, but what was the cam size and about how much timing did you throw at this car?
