Definitely not the day to be setting any records. Thats why I went out there in 100% street trim. 30 psi. Bridgestone re11's out back. stock size. All numbers aside, it does surge at parking lot speeds or during low speed manuevers, which I've learned to accept. The car pulls extremely hard in the mid-high range.. go figure. lol. Around the city I have no issues other than the 1st gear surging, but it drives very similiar to a stock vette at cruising speeds. Would recommend this cam for the serious hp enthusiast.
Nice dyno numbers but those track times are rough for a 527whp C6. Hopefully with some DR's and better conditions you can get close to 130mph trap. I got my Vette to trap 11.8 @121 with 275/40/18 street tires at 1600 DA. Launched at about 2400rpm and had to go easy on the gas pedal to get decent traction. Mine puts down 432whp & 408wtq.

Went with the LS9 plugs since they are a step colder than the oem ls3 plug. Considering the extra hp I'd be making, I was steered in that direction and they were recommended to be changed. Any thoughts are welcomed

OP, Have you tried getting it on a different dyno to see what it actually makes?

No, I have not. But if someone is willing to pay for it, I wouldn't mind doing it.

You need some seat time in the car and a bunch of runs to see where it really falls. Especially given that it is a stick shift.
With that power curve, you need to be shifting at 7300 or so to wring the mph out. And not be lazy with the shifts, or short shifting due to tire spin.
DA can have a big effect.
My honest opinion is that that power curve isn't real street friendly. And you shouldn't have too live with the surge.......

Although my car is an A4, the mph doesn't change much from street rubber to drag radials. And I have to get it in 2nd early to avoid tire spin on the street rubber. Maybe 1 mph difference. The ET changes 1 second......
I'm no where near 500 RWHP, but have gone nearly 123 in 2000ft DA @ 3450lbs.

The going rate for a couple dyno pulls is around $100 or less at most shops. If you can't get that thing to trap over 125 to low 130's mph in the future, wouldn't you be curious to see what it really makes?

7300 shift points? Lol

I wish there was a video of the 12.1 pass. I'd love to see how badly he was ice skating down the track.

I seen a dyno sheet from the same shop on a different build, I looked at that a few times as well.

If that Mustang dyno is accurately calibrated to manufacturer's spec & you dyno the same vehicle on a accurately calibrated DJ dyno. You will see a minimum of 10% higher indicated RWHP & most likely a 13% higher indicated number..........

There is one table in the Mustang calibration file that is easily changed so the DJ & Mustang numbers are similar. That table does not affect the accuracy of dyno only how the parasitic multiplier is applied. That is direct form a Mustang Engineer, I asked a few years ago.

I see no issue with doing that if it is disclosed to vehicle owner so no false hopes are generated. Also in this case it would be easier for members to discuss & more accurately determine if the track MPH makes sense.

Agreed - I'm not sure if whinding this thing up to 7300 would be alright or not... lol

I had a friend watch one of my runs and said from start to finish the car left 11's the entire way. I can honestly say the car felt like it was putting the power down.. but from the slips, it shows otherwise. 60' were 1.9 and 2.0 all day, if not worse.
