Awesome numbers! Is it just me, or is your hp peaking at 6000 and tq peaking at like 5800? If so that seems really weird lol

something deff seems to be odd with that graph. I dont see very many graphs that flatline at the upper rpm's, like your hp just flatlines for almost a full 1000 rpm. Also like stated your torque increases after the hp/tq line crosses which is also weird. But, all well. take her to the track and see how it does!

That seems weird to me too... First thing I noticed. It's almost like something is limiting it there. VERY flat torque curve though! nice!

The graph looks like that because the cam and intake are mismatched for the displacement. You can see in the bump in the graph at around 5k is where the longer runners of the fast hit their peak efficiency, and then at the torque peak is where the cam is working.

Thats a large cam with great heads but you did not specify what intake your running but if it were a ls6 intake that wouldnt cause it to stop rising at 6 grand. To me it looks like there was slip past 6000 stall/tranny, doesnt really look like a valvetrain issue. Run it at the track see how it performs in upper rpms let us know how it does

mustang dyno's have alot to do with the flat line. my pull's from dyno jet to M.D moved my peak rpm 300rpm's lower. And as for intakeit good for up to 6800rpm. i say it's more valve train and cam combo. heavy rockers and the cam you have seem to be reason. i would leave the cam and try lighter rockers and valve should net a good gain.

Doesn't matter how big the cam is with a long runner intake they will all peak at pretty much the same rpm. Your torque peak should not occur past 4900rpm even with that cam. Take a look at the gto we just did with a polluter cam , fast and a larger 225cc intake runner and it still peaked at 4500-4600 for torque and 6500rpm for HP.

the reason the graph flatlines like that is there was an flare in the rpm signal (ie "noise"). mustangs read through a preset rpm window during the run. looking at your graph this window was likely 3300-6700. somewhere around the 5900-5950 mark on your pull there was pickup "noise" which flashed an rpm reading higher than 6700 thus ending the pull according to the dyno. thats why the curves follow the exact same slope they were at when that happened.

nice numbers by the way
