Default 430ci LS3/7 Dynoed @ vengeance

Made 568 unlocked through a 5200 stall... lol.

Based off of gains on dyno and previous locked #s (had some converter issues today and couldnt lock on dyno) its around 625rwhp locked. Will revisit the dyno just to see once I get that worked out. Should be good for a 9 second pass on motor whenever I can get back to the track.

Cliffs:

4.072*4.125 (430.5ci)
LS3 bottom
TSP Small bore LS7 top
LS7 hi-ram
14.7:1 Comp
E85
Medium cam (251/259 .661)
4L80e
5200 Stall
Trans brake

This is one of those accidental threads where you open the link and get WAY more than you expect...

I hate the new Camaros like a lot of folks: this one looks awesome (motor aside). The Crystal Red or whatever the Camaro version is looks sharp. The weight reduction is awesome. And while I am desensitized to most of the NA motors having heard so many, this one plain makes the old c**k rock hard again!

14:1 through those cutouts sounds STUNNING, as does the big cam and high ram intake.

Please post more pics of this car and the motor, and keep us posted. I am in love with this Camaro! :-)

Where does the motor rev to with that 4.125" stroke? And what lifter setup to control it all?

Cheers,

-Michael

That was a 7600 rpm dyno pull... lol. Car will shift at 71-7200 because power peaks at 6800. stock ls7 lifters and pac 1207x springs with light valves and che bushed rockers. no reason to use expensive lifters turning such low rpms. also, there are four mufflers on the car (2 per bank) lol... no cutouts, compression just makes it loud.

Damn that thing is nasty!! I assume its on E85?

Do you normally lock the converter on the strip?

Sub'd for track results!

***edit***

I'm with you, Stang2Goat. I've followed DietCoke's threads through the years but I must say one of my favorite all-time things about his car is his license plate cover! The best ever....

Lots of work and little things add up. It's really not that bad, hell the car still has air conditioning and a full interior.
