Default BBK to KOOK's header swap on 5th Gen Camaro +36 RWHP

This customer had another shop install a camshaft, shorty headers, and cold air intake. He complained of bad driveablity and low power so we had another go at the tune. It was amazing how little was changed in the other shop's tune yet he was still charged $700! With our tune the car picked up good and drove night and day better but still made horrible power for a cammed LS3 Camaro (421.8 rwhp)

We talked the customer into taking the BBK headers off in favor for a full KOOKs system with 1 7/8 primaries. The car picked up 36 RWHP!

The customer came back later to tell us how much easier the car pulls going down the highway and all around just feels so much better. We are glad that it got the car back up where it ought to be!

So you mean full kooks exhaust from LT's to tips or just LT's? If he had BBK shorties and stock exhaust and went to Kooks LT's and Kooks TD's all the way back, I believe it.

Nice gains! It's crazy how little some people do in a tune and get away with it.

We charge $400-$550 for street/dyno tuning. Mail order between $125 - $250. Been professionally tuning for 12 years now.

Here is a screen shot of the $700 dyno tune this car came in with compared against a stock file.

I'm also curious which BBK headers were on it before and what the rest of the exhaust was? Awesome gains!

They where BBK shorties and quite literally that is all we changed. None of the rest of the exhaust was changed.

Customer seems really happy and is ecstatic with how much harder the car pulls now.
