Stock Bottom End Ls2 NA...WHP Results?!?!
My C5 Zo6 has a Ls2 short block w........
-Vengeance Racing VRX5 Custom Grind (236/238 .601/.605 113 LSA)
-Stock 243s
-Ls6 Intake
-Kooks Long Tubes
-Kooks Off Rd X-Pipe (No Cats)
-Stock Rockers w Truion Upgrade
-T56 Car
Dyno Tuned out @ 421WHP 400WTQ......(Dyno Jet)
Now w a set of TEA stage 2 243's whats the HP gain ya think Im looking at w them CNC Porting my heads and bumping the CR up to the most I can w Pump Gas?
Also would I be leaving Power on the table keeping my Cam or swap it out at the same time as well?

The power it makes now. There is no guarantee you'll pick up 40 with heads either. You should really be in the 440 range I think. Maybe it will take messaging some of your parts.....maybe it will take changing a few parts.

Well one thing about the set up is the Ls2 knocks w my Ls1 pcm dont give us a reading so there could be some timing left to be added but w out a darn KR reading while tuning we left it safe.....
While the heads come off or before I plan on making sure the Knock sensors are reading correctly so when we re tune the car for the heads I can lean on it for sure w out having a issue of Spark Knock

Not that dynos really matter, but for reference my buddy made around 420 rwhp on his cammed 06 GTO with a stock LS2 intake with full exhaust, 6-speed and tune, so this seems about average to me. It was on a Dynojet dyno as well

Thinking w a .040 Head Gasket at 63cc Cambers and if the pistons come out of the block by .010 (Which I will Measure once the Heads come off) I will be at 11.78:1 CR
Kinda of worried about the .030 Quench is that to tight? on a stock bottom end Ls2?

I think the power is about right. Cam is not gigantic - it is still 243s and an ls6 intake. Fast would get you 5-10. Good heads would get 30-40.
I've done tons of c5 z06 cam only cars in the 410-430 range depending on cam size.
The extra .3 liters isn't that big of a difference.

I would agree if it was a cam only ls1. But a ls2 with ls6 heads and a decent size cam should do better. Unless average is your goal.
Like I said op.....go over your parts...message them where needed and maybe change a few and tune it again. I think there is some left in it.

Just as an insite, buddy had a 05 gto, pacesetter headers, catless with borla catback, and a vararam. Put down 434/418 on E85. Untouched everything internally sans cam. Car runs like it to. I put down 454/425 on the same day in my LS2 and on a perfectly even hit I was a slow but steady pull away.
His graph for reference.
