Got some results tonight!

11.27 @ 120mph with a 1.5X 60ft in 1900 DA

I was having Issues with a little tire spin off the line, not much but enough to make a difference. Overall I'm happy with the results, but I still think there is room for improvement.

Nice where did you end up going to the track at 66?

120mph is good. What is your tire set up?

Nice times considering the DA and the time of the year it is. Suspension seems to be working pretty good as well.

Do you have a Ram Air setup? IF not I'd look into the Chris1313, it has helped out both of my friends cars a decent amount and is a good mod.

I'm not really sure. All I have removed is the rear seat, a/c compressor/condenser, and I have a MWC front bumper support. The car had a 1/2 tank of gas and I weigh 230lbs.

What is upstream in your induction system from 90mm tb? Anything smaller than 90mm forwards of that point?

Good results for the first time out. With some fine tuning you may find you have a 10 second ride.

I was at great lakes dragaway. The car is sitting on a 26" M/T drag radial.

I'm running a GM 85mm maf. Keep in mind this time is with the factory 3.23 gear. I'm confident with a little more seat time and a gear change It should cut a 1.4X 60ft and be in the 10's. Also I do agree about the tuning. I'm thinking about having Speed Inc. Up the shift points to 6800-6900rpm. I'm going to post the time slip in a minute, I would appreciate it if you could critique it for me.

25 mph out the back door with a cam only automatic is getting it!

A 4.11 rear gear will put you at a much more optimal RPM crossing the stripe which will get your MPH up and E.T. down.

Upping the shift points to 6900-7000rpm will also lower your E.T. and raise MPH.

With a 4.11 rear gear, 7000rpm shift points and a 1.40-1.45 60' you'll see 10.90's@123-124 in the heat of summer. Bring the cool air and sub 1000 DA around and I don't see how 10.80's possibly high 10.7's wouldn't be possible.

Edit: Didn't see where OP said it was 1900 DA.

Very nice man. More seat time will be your best bet.

Impressive results. Good weather and some minor tweaks and it will be 10 second club time.

Nice times for the DA. I agree that in some good cool air you should see some 10.80s or so . Those are very similar times I was running last year in the heat and when the good air came I ran 10.85 @ 124.2 on a 1.52 60 ft.

I think you have a good solid 10 sec ride on your hands, Congrats!

In the heat of summer I guarantee the DA is 2500+ which will correct your times to an easy 11.0@122-123 at sea level. I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility that the DA was above 3000 when you ran.

With a 4.11 gear, do you think I will still be able to get the 26" radial to work?

Sounds like a solid 10 sec setup. Got me thinking about this cam a lot now.

Do you have any sound clips by chance?

I'd really like to make them work! I like the look of a 28" tire but the problem is, it's already hard to get races with cars that run close to what my car does cause it sounds like a 9 sec car with the exhaust setup I'm running. If I go to a 28" tire, then its going to look like one too! I'm pretty sure over this winter I will be putting an aftermarket rear in my car. If I do I will order it with a 4.11 gear just because you have me curious as to what this car can do now.

Your crossing RPM will be higher and the converter slip less with the 4.11 vs. what you have now.

That's my ride! Hopefully soon I'll get my exhaust setup to match yours and I've been looking at a 4k stall.
