Track numbers are what I'm looking forward to seeing. Trap speed to be more exact.

Me too. I just don't know if I will be able to get this to work with a 26" drag radial.

I really hope so Martin. It would be nice to report back with good track times to back up the dyno numbers.

Our graphs look so similar it's not even funny. You're enjoying how "punchy" it is?

Wow, made 350rwtq@3200 with the old combo and smaller cam and 350rwtq@3200 with the new combo with larger cam. From there it just takes off.

Look how flat the torque curve is after peak torque as well.

Just looking at the curve alone, and the gains under the curve as well as in the mid-range and up top makes me believe this thing is going to be a beast at the track.

What makes his torque hold on like that without dropping of? is it his static compression? either way that is an enviable graph for sure. i wish i could hold on to my tq the same lol, it just nose dives after 5800

Scavenging and overlap. Good header design, larger diameter push rods and good lifters.

It's a combination and no one thing makes it stand out.

Sorry, I do not. I might be able to ask Speed Inc. If they can make that happen for me though.

So there are two of us SNS 3 guys in chicago now but I was looking at your graph and others against mine. it seems like my torque falls way faster than others. Could this be from having stock 243s? would compression help this out?

His bowl work could be helping that as could the compression. The larger diameter push rods and link bar lifters will also help to allow the camshaft to operate around its designed parameters.

Meaning little to no loss in duration/lift as RPM rises and the push rod inevitably flexes more and more. Lifter bleed down also comes into play.

I have only taken it around town so far. It's hard to tell that there is more power at this point cause of the 4500 converter and I have not gone WOT yet. I'm waiting to take it to the track for that. Possibly this weekend if the weather is decent!

If it were to carry as far as his did, it should make the same HP.

I wouldnt even bother with a 26" DR if I were you. This past weekend I borrowed a friends Et Pros at the track and shaved 7 tenths off of my 1/4 mi time and a half second off of my 60' from when I ran on a 26" Nitto. Great numbers btw! Very similar build to what im wanting to do.

Those are some damn good numbers through a stalled auto. You'll have some fun once you open it up down the track

Keep us posted on the results. I've been eyeing this cam
