Just curious, anyone out there put down 500+ whp on a completely stock bottom end ls1 that is running a 9" rear , 411 or taller gears, and 28" drag radials?

It's stock bottom end ls1. It's his old build but very impressive. Many say it couldn't be done on a aluminum block yet alone a stock bottom end one.

You talking N/A? I have not seen a 500whp 5.7L N/A but seen 6.0L 500whp N/A heads, cam.
I have a friend with a supercharged (Maggie) 02 WS6 on 12psi made 581whp and 500TQ stock bottom end LS1 (cam only). I believe he has 9" rear and 4:10s too.

Plenty of 500 rwhp stock bottom end LS1's that are NA, but no ideah if they are running that rear, gears, or size tire. Tony Mamo and Pat G have made 500 rwhp on a stock bottom end 5.7, but the attention to detail was great and the cost to do it was even more. In my opinion, there are better ways to achieve a number that will produce greater numbers and be mors friendly on you bank account.

Here is my two cents on the subject. Can you make 500rwhp. Of course. Is it easy to do. No. I think you have to buy the right combination of parts and pay attention to the small details when assembling the motor in order to do so and that is why not everyone does it. Does anyone know of one with an automatic transmision?
