Multiple F11 cam comparo Hey got my car dyno'd agian today. This time on a dynojet for more tuning but also to compare it to the Mustang dyno from a month ago. Also, and this is the coolest, one of the club guys NB99Z has the same cam and setup as me except he has ported ls1 heads, a 9" and 4.30 gears...Great comparo!
So I did 386.7/378.4 SAE on the 1st run this is 394.2/385.7 STD for comparison to the Mustang dyno where I did 385/358. The torque and HP percentages being different matches the HotRod comparison that was done last month although it's still a smaller difference then they saw. Just proves every dyno is different and tuning is all that counts. Can't wait to run some numbers.
Final tuned numbers were 393/381 thru the Flowmaster in the 4" mufflex catback!! Overall I gained 52 Hp over my stock cam setup by adding the F11, Jantzer Tb, and Pulley. I love the torque down low with this cam. I even gained 10-15 Hp across the board from 2500 up to 4k where it really started to pull strong.
Ported stock heads look to be worth well over 50hp with this cam. I'm figuring that on the 32 NB99Z has over me on the graph plus what he's losing to me with the 9" and 4.30's. LT1Dave obviously does great head work. I'm gonna start savings for a set of these!
