Default LS6 vs FAST 90mm on a FMS 434 motor

Finished up an upgrade to a customers solid roller 434 motor. Switched to a Darton wet-sleeve block, lowered the CR .5 pt, swapped from 5.3 heads to FMS-LS6 RACE heads and installed slightly more aggressive cam profile 259\266-112 (.672"\.673")-yes solid again.

Last dyno was at TR 2 yrs ago and made 550\508 open headers, short belt on same drivetrain, and dynoed 539\514 before teardown through cutout. New setup made 584\535 with LS6 intake and ported T\B, then dynoed with the FAST 90mm intake 605\544

The FAST 90mm intake was port matched, installed and dynoed with NO TUNING changes, the dip at low RPM is a lean tip-in, then the A\F went right to 13.0 (same A\F as the LS6 intake), needless to say the customer was happy after the 21 HP gain and will be getting one soon. Also had a little RPM signal loss at the beginning of the pulls.

Dynoed through 12-bolt w\4.10, stock driveshaft, short belt, open cutout after Y-pipe, no air filter and on stock WS6 rims w\275\40-17 DR's with 103\93 mix gas.

Wow I can't wait to see that booger on the track again!!!! I though he decided to go with a C5R this time. Those are great numbers! I might have to give you guys a call sometime soon and check up on a 408.

It Must Be Nice!!!! This is an AWESOME comparison. Both with the swap of heads and intake. FMS never cease to amaze me.. What kills me is this car was tuned with ls1edit.

Damn good numbers, especially through a 12-bolt/4:10s and a cutout! Just imagine what it would have done with open headers and a more aggressive tune.

I don't know too many places (if any) that have two LS1/LS6 600rwhp n/a cars sitting in the shop at one time (this car and Gordon's). That was pretty cool to see.

I figured it would peak higher.
That's pretty much where mine peaks.

Awesome numbers nonetheless!

That is crazy. Looks like you didn't have to spin it way high, either. Is it somewhat streetable?
