Default LS6 bolt on dyno + vid

Nothing spectacular, but here it is.

2003 Corvette Z06 with 39k on the clock:

-Kooks 1 7/8" headers
-Kooks catless X-pipe
-Stock Ti exhaust
-Airaid full air intake w/ dry flow filter
-EFILive Autocal w/ remote tuner

389hp/378tq SAE on the best run. Correction factor was 0.98. Dynojet.

Pretty much what I expected, but always nice to have some real data for comparison purposes. Doing heads/cam here soon...hoping for around 450!!!

Impressive numbers for an unopened stock gm power plant that gets 30mpg!
Get rid of the restrictive mid-pipes and see some more hp.

Great results on that low mile Z06! It's right where I'd expect it with those mods.

Nice. I'd like to see 75whp from heads cam and supporting mods.

Thanks guys.

Heads are off at AI right now getting the 226cc porting package dealio.

Cam is a mild, PatG specced one, coming in at 226/230 .604/.604 113 +3.

I finished the cam swap/other supporting mods, just waiting for the heads to get back and put everything back together.

Surprises me more people don't just do simple used ls6 take off parts and make 400whp in an fbody. It's just too easy.

For sure!

It's a shame you didn't finish it off to full bolt-ons op. No doubt you could've reached 410+whp

I'm all about performance per $$. It seemed like H/C was a better value than intake setup and a bunch of other little bolt on type mods. H/C is definitely more work involved...but I'm doing all my own labor, so not that big of a deal to me.

In progress right now is CNC ported stock 243 heads and custom PatG spec cam. Cam swap is actually complete... car is still apart in the garage, waiting for the heads to get back from AI. Hope to be in the neighborhood of 450 hp and 400+ tq.

Absolutely.. Mine made 417/399 with addition of ud pulley and fast 78 intake.

Mine too will be getting heads/cam treatment as that is the most cost effective way moving forward without neo.
