I have a 366 (6.0L) LQ9. Stock rods, stock pistons, bored .020" 232cc Advanced Induction cnc port n polished 243 heads milled for 11.5:1 CR dual springs, titanium retainers, 229/234 .600 114+2 cam, stock rockers with trunion upgrade, hardened pushrods, 102 TB, 100mm MAF, 42lb fast injectors, FAST fuel rails, Mamo ported FAST 102 intake manifold, return style fuel system, aluminum driveshaft, 25% Crank Pulley, 1 7/8" longtubes, aluminum flywheel, full dual 3" exhaust with x pipe, 3.58 rear, No A/C......this is on a 5 spd manual trans
Made 469whp and 433ft-lbs SAE dynojet brand spanking new motor....once it breaks in should make more.
I was considering a 408 stroker later on but see folks barely making 500whp and to me a 408 should be making significantly more than that.

~530 rwhp ~500 rwtq on motor with an EWP and underdrive pulley through 3:42 gears.
Pick up another ~25 hp with E85 and a good tuner.
This being on an honest dyno and no tricks.
Your torque curve will be immense early and flat as a board.
Edit: on a 200 shot breaking 700 rwhp and stupid torque.

Seems about right to me - you made 469 rwhp with 366 cubes - add another 42 cubes (408) to get another 50-60 rwhp. Plus he'll have ~60 more rwtq through the rpm than yours. Good trade IMO.
