Those are pretty respectable numbers! I bet it's fun to drive on the street. I've been researching a H/C/I combination for some time now and yours was one of the "off-the-shelf" safe (no fly cutting necessary) ways that I had originally thought about going. Seems to be a fairly popular and relatively economical avenue.
What I don't understand is the ET. As a point of reference we have a bolt-on C5 with an IHRA Pure Stock cam (OEM lift and duration) that runs 11.50s with a 3.90 and Yank SS4000 on DOT tires and makes 50 rwhp less. ??? Our race weight is about 3300.
Run was made on NT555 street tires. I'm think a stickier tire and a better 60' would improve my times significantly, just didn't want to risk breaking the 10 bolt before I can get my S60 installed.
Dyno numbers are impressive for a SBE LS1. I think your converter is holding you back. My combo didn't like anything less than a 3500 stall and it was very similar to yours except the cam had more duration. I could leave at a little above idle and flash the converter. It would 60' in the 1.5X range on the stock 10 bolt. Automatics are easier on the 10 bolt than the manual cars.

It's an auto. I have friends here who are in the 1.5 60' range with tons of passes and street abuse. If it starts getting noisy then I'd worry.
More gear and converter will really wake that car up. I would guess an 11.2x-.3x but then you're approaching that line as to how much you'd like to give up on the street. Our 3.90, Yank SS4000 and 28" drag radial would be fine for the street and on a good track it has a 1.4x 60' in it.
I'm getting that cam with PRC stage 2 5.3 heads and plan on going at least 11.5 or better. I plan on going 11.9-12.3 with just bolt ons and my Yank ss4000... I've been 12.7 with just full exhaust. I bet your car can go 11.5's with a little looser converter and better tires
I've been debating having my 3200 restalled to a 3600, just not sure if the gains would be worth the cost and hassle. I don't really wanna go looser than that as the car is mainly driven on the street and only sees the track 2 or 3 times a year.
My 2002 ss camaro is my daily driver and I installed a Yank SS4000 last weekend and its very streetable in my opinion. Still getting 20.7 mpg around town also.

I would recommend a different cam that made better use of your available power band at WOT with you using a 4000rpm stall converter.
We have several grinds that would do so and drive identically to the SNS Stage 2.
Martin I plan on ordering the LS2 sns stage 2 cam actually. I emailed you a while back questioning you about it and the PRC 5.3heads. The only reason i dont want to go larger on the cam is because i dont really want to spin my stock bottom end with 130,000+ miles more than 6,500rpm but if you have something else that won't have to be turned 6,500+ that you think will work better I will give it a try.
Thanks for the input Martin. I'm just scared to turn it that high because it's my daily driver but once I get me a forged bottom end ls1 I'll definitely be getting a polluter or custom grind from you.
