Default Figuring out dyno numbers.

I recent got my GTO tuned. I'm trying to figure out what could cause the dyno numbers to be so high. My specs are:

LS2
T56
Stepped headers - catless mids - spintech 2.5 catback
Lingenfelter CAI.

As to my knowledge everything else is stock. I put down 393hp/400ft lbs. The graph says 407 but there is an initial spike. The dyno reading is correct.

Disregard the spike if that is what you are asking.

It isn't that. From my observations a LS2 with headers and a tune hits in the 360-375 ballpark and with a tune. My "spike" is listed at 407 ft lbs.

The cars that ran on the dyno after me were where they should be power wise. And other locals confirmed their numbers with me on LS1GTO and in person. I'm just trying to figure out what unknown mods could cause the power to be slightly higher than average. It does not have a cam. I know that.

For one thing it was run on STD(standard) correction factors. Most run on SAE correction factors. STD tends to read a little higher than SAE.

Ask the dyno facility for a dyno readout in SAE CF.

Yes, STD reads higher by a fair amount. usually higher than even uncorrected numbers. My 476/436 SAE was 489/449 on STD correction. It looks better, but its not the accepted standard.
