Default 408 build dyne

Hello Everyone,

I've Finished putting my engine together

11.8:1 cr
GMPP LS3 CNC Heads with lunati Dual springs
Yella Terra Rockers 1.7
Comp cam 247/255 624/624 114 LSA
Edelbrock Victor Jr. Intake Manifold
6061 elbow with 102 mm fast TB
Ford racing 39lbs inj
Hooker 1 7/8 headers

well... I put the car on loaded dyne jet and i got these numbers: 491 HP and 435 TQ STD

AF 13:1 and on 93 octane

Its Daily use car with M6, strange S60 and 4.10

my Question is I feel the numbers are low (I could be Wrong) but what shall i do to get in 500 range ?

Strange....that's what a bolt on LS1 runs.
I am going to be watching this as I am building a LS3 headed 408 now https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...-breather.html
Something's not right.....I would have guessed that combo @ 525/500 or MORE

yup trust me i wanna know whats going on i tried to scan it , took it to a couple of shops to look at and no one were able to help. so i took the engine out, took it a part, checked everything and put it back and same thing . LoL but I swear its like the car is not happy at all.

It runs great even with AC on but i wish i can fix the power issue

I mean the Dyno numbers don't seem THAT far off but the dyno and track numbers are no where close......Slipping clutch? Undergeared and just no where near your power band?

Maybe with the weight of the car loading vs dyno is making it break up? Check TPS voltage to make sure it matches up only thing I can see if it makes the numbers on the dyno but doesn't perform at the track is its acting up when its under a real load

Throw some new plugs in there, Check all your grounds, Check to see if the TB itself is opening all the way, Check for Exhaust leaks, Vaccum leaks, compression test, Checking valve train lol it goes on and on

He says he's shifting @ 6900. I can't read the rpm range on the dyno sheet..
OP do you have a dyno sheet with rpm (those are cut off and look like possibly mph, at least on my screen).
