It actually wasn't too bad yesterday. Temps were in the 70s, was around 50% and the DA was roughly 1900. And I actually weighed the car when I got to the track and it was 3454 with a half tank of gas and people were saying it was reading heavier than normal. The only thing the car doesn't have is the spare tire and jack.

And I've just never had much luck with those tires. As soon as I went WOT it broke loose and spun going into 2nd too.

Yeah mine did the same thing on those 555R's. Went to a BFG dr and it's much better. I'm sure the 4.10s did help in my situation either lol

I think I'm gonna either get some 28" ET street or a set of slicks.

Update
After rebuilding my transmission earlier this year and waiting for the track to open I finally got some decent passes in this weekend at test n tune. My first pass on motor was a 12.2 @ 114 with a 1.7 60ft, second pass I turned the nitrous on and it went 11.0 @ 128 with a 1.6 60ft, my last pass was 10.98 at 128 with another 1.6 60ft. In all I'm pretty please with the results even though I know it had more in it. I still need to get a few things for the car like a 2 step, some shocks and an anti roll bar.

I'd like to get my 60ft down to a 1.4 or 1.5, I was on a 28" Hoosier slick as well and 150 shot.

Once again an update on the car:
Late last year I got a set of 15" Racestars for the car running a 28" M/T slick. Put a 2 step on it and shaved off a little time(pics posted). This weekend I went to the track and was just running the car on motor for fun. I was having trouble getting it dialed in launching off the two step so I tried slipping the clutch and got a new PB on motor of 11.8 @ 118. I'm not really sure how the car picked up 4mph cause not much has changed performance wise. I put an extreme drag bar on it, deleted all the ac stuff under the hood. The only thing I can think of is I had a nitrous backfire and it damaged the maf screen so I pulled it out. There's a little more airflow since the ac condenser is gone but heck I'm not gonna complain. I'm gonna take the car by my tuber this week and have him check everything over but I'll continue to post updated as they come.
