I've read some guys claimed premature wear with higher lifts & stock rockers.

Yep you read my mind I just threw mine up in the classified haha

IIRC this was pretty much a race only deal correct?

I ran .660" lift on my race car with stock rockers and had the rockers off several times with no issues to speak of. It was race only though, no street time.

IIRC the cam was specified for a 7500+ RPM shift point as well. I'd go for 420-430# open spring pressure and 160-170# seated.

If the cam gives you issues with rocker arms, let me know and I'll spec you a new one on my dime.

It's going to be race only street / track not a Sunday cruiser strictly racing and thank you for commenting Martin

PAC 1206X springs will work fine as I've used them with a .660 lift cam with both street and strip going as high as 8k. I don't see them in the kits much.

Clean up the swipe milling the stands if necessary and run a zinc additive (I always run 1/3 bottle of the lucas break in additive) in the oil.

1207's are a little more pressure and easier to find in kits it seems.

Looks like Brian tooley has another option.

Yea I looked at those, I'm going to go with a set of 1207x springs and some aftermarket roller rockers just for piece of mind. I'm this far into the build why cheap out on rockers ya know.
