Default Tick Performance Street Heat stage 2 cam

Anyone here running Tick's Street Heat stage 2 cam? Anyone with a 6 speed?
I've done a few different searches with no recent results with the current cam specs.
If your running the 231/235 .625"/.605" LSA 113+3 I would love to hear your results and driving experience.
I am planning on running this cam with hand ported 243 heads with trunion upgrades , BTR springs, LT headers , ORY pipe , Borla with a QTP cutout , K&N FIPK , ported throttle body , Racetronic 255 with Hotwire upgrade , and a set of 42 lb injectors.
Stock 3:42's and a LS7 clutch.

The 98 Trans Am in sig.

The best part of being a car guy is when someone asks about your car, so feel free to tell me about your Hotrod.

Thanks, David

Can't help you with that particular cam, but it looks similar to some other ones that come to mind.

I see you're in MI. So do you run at 131 dragway?

Not with the Trans Am, stock rear end...
That's what the other car in the sig is for.
The T/A is supposed to be a fun driver

Missed that lol. The Z28 sounds really cool. What does it run or dyno?

Thank you, got a dyno sheet with the car , 541 on a Mustang dyno .
Car has a custom pulley on it to keep boost to 6 psi , still on stock short block.
Car was a friend of mines that passed away, he built the car from the rear forward so to speak. Needs a forged short block and some more boost.
I plan to build something to take that F1 abuse.

I'm trying to find the harsh vibration it has in the driveline since he swapped the TH400 for the current 4L80-E.
Have a few other bugs yet to fix , then I can't wait to see what it runs .

Gotcha. At 540 rwhp it should be trapping around 125-128 I bet....assuming its a full weight street car.

I bet it's a big heavy Z28, full weight plus roll bar / 4L80-E / 12 bolt / Procharger / front mount / meth kit.
I bet she's a fat bottom girl for sure . Lol

On all honesty it's gonna perform pretty much the same as any cam with similar specs. You could probably go on places like YouTube and see several f-bodies running this cam or ones very similar to it

Like the TSP Torquer series cams. Plenty of results out there. The cam doesn't tell the whole story, so I wouldn't worry about the exact same one.

I have been checking out You Tube and have seen some street racing videos a few dyno vids but not a lot of info on entire set up or driving manners etc.

I agree with you, it's all about the entire package.
I've got all my pieces parts and am still looking for options for tuning.

I street tuned one a few weeks ago, 99 C5.

Think it was 241 heads, but whatever is stock
Fast92.
CNC porated LS2 throttle, Vengeance Racing sounds familiar on this.
Long tubes, full exhaust.

No idea on power, set at 24* of advance, and the SVO 30lb injectors (36 @58psi) were over 80% idc.

Car really booted above 4000rpm

Awesome, thank you.
I am still trying to source the tuning but really looking forward to driving the T/A again . This is the first LS engine I have done internal mods on , I'm hoping the Bird runs and pulls hard like my C5 Z06 did (12.12@117 1.8 60ft) that car was a blast to drive.

I love my SNS stg2 (231/235, ls2 version) car and mods are in sig. No numbers, I'm only tuned with a WB on the street, but the car drives amazing and the power is everywhere you want it. The power comes on nice and strong, pulling all the way to 6500 where the limiter is set. The car is my DD, and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.

Well the engine is back together and runs strong , did some tuning on it myself.
Drives good but would probably benefit from some shorter gears out back .
