And I'm not one to play the dyno queen game. As long as my car gets down the track faster than the guys in the next lane, I don't care how much power he makes on the dyno.
My point is that if you're going to build a motor that's going to require a mix of 103/93 to go to WOT on motor, you might as well build a motor that's going to take 116 to run. Why not run 14.5:1/15:1 compression and make much more power?

I've been on the board for about 2 years, but just lurking. I haven't dealt with LS1s much until recently, so I didn't have anything to say.
The car I'm talking about is no longer a street car. It used to be, but not anymore. But it is heavy and has a full interior. How many 9 second F-bodies still have the back seats?

Actually, this motor still uses the LS1 heads and block.
