I currently own the highest dyno'ing hydraulic cammed F-body and my car was built by Futral Motorsports. I think my record is going to come down soon. Futral Motorsports has customers already calling them to build them a similar setup like mine. Remember dyno #'s are great and they are used as a tool to show the potential of a car. They do not necessarily mean the car will run the times w/out a supporting platform.
vince the c5 that we built for VETTE dcts went 9,30s na with a 427 it puts 620 to the wheels and heres the vid from etown this weekend covette challange,

I've been on the board for about 2 years, but just lurking. I haven't dealt with LS1s much until recently, so I didn't have anything to say.

The car I'm talking about is no longer a street car. It used to be, but not anymore. But it is heavy and has a full interior. How many 9 second F-bodies still have the back seats?
The back seat weighs like 10lbs? My car weighs 3000lbs with full interior and a 10 point cage and yes it will run deep in the 9's. Yes it runs on pump gas and is licensed on the street. There are plenty of ways too lighten these cars up without totally striping them.

It weighs over 3200# because it that's what the minimum weight was for the class it was running. There is at least a hundred pounds that could be taken out if I had to guess. Jud likes it how it is now though.

When I said 3000lbs pounds that was refering to the car. My race weight will be around 3260. I have to stay around 3200 for the classes I wanna run. Good thing cause I'm not a light weight, lol

Jud's car is bad ***

oh by the way, the qhole reason I started this thread is because Jud's car put 678hp to the slicks at HPE the week before, and I wanted to see how it compared to others. The guess at 9.30s was a bit optimistic for this weather. DA was around 3800ft and the temps were over 100*, so I guess 9.50 isn't too bad

"Jud's car put 678hp to the slicks at HPE the week before"

"Actually, this motor still uses the LS1 heads and block."

Are you talking about the same car in these two statements? 678 RWHP on slicks with LS1 heads? Not C5R, not even LS6, but LS1 heads?

Yeah, they are LS6 heads. They are not C5R yet. The current engine is being refreshened since one of the old alum rods snapped on a 9.77@141 run.

I usually try not to respond to the mindless rants, but dude you're killing me. The whole thing with starting this thread as a question and baiting people to beg you for info is too much. Save us a little drama next time and make your statement or put the keyboard down.

I did a search and couldn't find a thread about this, so I started one myself. I was trying to find out about other high power cars out there and try to see what they ran with their power and weight in order to get some idea of what the SAM Camaro might run. Apparently, not enough were close enough to compare.

Plus, it was fun keeping you guys in suspense for a while
