It's possible your cats are partially clogged, which can raise the boost up. Bob

I missed that it even had cats.....loses cats and makes the same power at 3 less psi

Heres the dyno if anyone cares to see it. Bob, you think id have an issue with the cats even though their kooks high flow cats? If i took them out would i have to redyno the car? Also, we did see some belt slip on the dyno, is the stock tensioner okay with 10 psi? I cant tighten it anymore with the 11/16 deep well socket. I have a set of crows feet i can use but im wondering if it will be too tight.

I wouldn't expect the Kooks cats to clog up, but the only way to find out is to remove them. Yes, you would have to look to make sure the tune was still safe if you removed the cats.

The blower belt (with ProCharger slide tensioner) has to be as tight as a guitar string, otherwise you'll have belt slip problems. Bob

Thanks bob, one last question. The used head unit i bought earlier this year has impeller damage and i suspect the seals are leaking. I emailed procharger and received no reply. What are my options?

Sending in a blower for a new impeller and seals will probably be around $1500.00. It gets expensive because ProCharger isn't going to send it back out unless every part is at 100%. Bob

Would they upgrade that to a D1X for the same price? The $1500 is worth it i think either way since the newer head units are $2700ish. Would i deal directly with you for that or have to try and hunt down procharger

You'll end up with more in it if you switch it up to a D-1X. I prefer to have people go directly through ProCharger, as the cost almost always ends up higher than initially quoted, as they want to make sure all parts are at 100%. Thanks. Bob

In for results.
typically when adding boost to a good running motor, adding another atmosphere will double your NA power, with some slight losses with efficiency so say 16-17psi would theoretically double the power the engine makes, and 7-8psi may add about 1/2 of what the engine makes... it should get you in the ball park of what you could expect, provided the similar atmospheric conditions from the NA engine numbers vs Boosted
Let say 620 rwhp @ 7.5 psi

My setup is almost identical but I have a stalled auto and stock 10 bolt. I made 598rwhp/560rtq with a D1sc on 8psi and a FMIC setup . (6 rib with 3.5 blower pulley)

My current setup:

SBE ls1 ('02)
243 Heads (VJ and light bowl work)
TSP 228r 112
FAST 102/92mm
BBK 1 3/4 headers with custom catted Y and 3" cutout (w/ stock catback)
SD 60# injectors
Snow Performance Stage 2 (50/50 mix)
FLT 4l60e w/ Yank SS3600
Stock 10 bolt (3.23)

Hmm, was that with the cut out open? I think i should be making more torque that 515 rwtq but i really think that the cats are holding me back and only running 13-16 degrees of timing up top.

Not sure I'd put more than 16 degrees to it.

Correct, that is with the cutout open, 16 degrees of timing and a fatter 11.2 AFR.

Update:

I went ahead and took the kooks high flow cats off and replaced them with a new TSP Y pipe into the magnaflow cat back and you wont believe this but i went from 10-11 psi when i dynoed the car to 4.5 psi @ 6500 RPM !!! To anyone who doesnt think that high flow cats are restrictive this is proof!!! I lost 5.5 psi on average just taking those hi flows off!!! Still amazes me.
