That's what I'm thinking. I mean for $450 that shouldn't be a problem. Maybe that'll get me to that number that starts with a 4. Lol

395 on 7 cylinders? Yeah, get all new plugs and you'll be 420-430 easy.

Damn, rub it in. Lol jk..... the numbers arent too far off from what my TA makes with an old school tr230 230/224 cam with crappy pacesetter longtubes and 853 heads. Smh

I'm hoping this plug will make a good amount of difference. The torque number is already pretty high, so I don't know exactly much more, but a guy can hope. Lol

Also, you guys may know. My maf sits right in front of the throttle body, but it's wiring harness is way longer suggesting it goes in a different place. That's how the car was, so we put it back together that way. Tuner said it was ok as well.

Anyone know if it should be in a different location and if it could be affecting anything?

You hold the dyno record for "bolt ons", right?

A guy asking for some realistic opinions on his non-max effort car can't benefit from max-effort comparisons "lol"

I'm running the Callaway Honker and it specifically says they relocated the MAF further more to get a better reading. I wouldn't worry about that.

Sure he can. I wouldn't have made what I did had I not asked questions.

Just got an email from the tuner.....new plug in, new numbers are 409hp/411tq. I can't wait to see the graph, but that torque number is crazy. Still wild to me the torque is more and the two numbers are that close together, but it should make the car pretty fun and quick.

Here is the graph, what do you guys think? He kept the limiter at stock at 6500rpms

Ok he lifted early as hell. You didn't reach peak HP. That cam, based on your peak tq rpm should hit peak power at 6300-6500, and he was out of the throttle by then. You're making 430/411

Edit - btw, very good torque numbers for stock compression. If your valves, pushrods, and springs are up to it, raise limiter to 7000.

Edit 2 - generally your peak HP RPM is 1500-1800 rpm higher than peak torque. Your torque peaked at 4800, which is exactly where a stock LS6 heads and intake motor is going to peak tq. That's where my first comment came from.

I looked at this cam but ended up going with the stage 3. I think this one is supposed to make peak power at 6400-6500. It infact doesn't look like he is spinning it high enough. It would probably still be climbing up to your 6500 limiter. May want to the limiter up a bit. I spin my stage 3 up to 7K but seems to do best with shifting at 6800ish.

Blows my mind why people stop the pull so early. This beast just sat down to the dinner table lol

I thought he lifted it pretty early too. Looks like around 5800? Any reason people lift this early?

The torque number really surprised me as well, I'm very impressed with that. How did you come up with the 430hp? I really like the numbers you came up with . Lol
