That is the point I try to make in this forum all the time.

If you use the same combo with more cubic inches it will make exactly the same power at a lower RPM, but more torque.

If you have a 620hp engine that makes it's power at 6200, and one that makes 620 at 7100, the higher revving engine can be geared more aggressively and have greater mechanical advantage and ETs.

The higher revving will be harder on parts.

IMO Tyler needs a spool, that double sway setup, a 5k-5500 RPM stall with lockup and a 4l80.

Again imo with a setup like that and maybe cam phasing and runner tuning mid nines maybe a touch better with weight loss.

I mean he has 10.1 with just a 1.40 60' and no other change.

Tyler, put a tire on it. I mean a tire. Maybe E85 or meth a least. Not for octane, but for vaporization gains.

There is a shitload still in the table. To me that is.

when my house is done, I'm doing aggressive **** like that for my turbo. I'm putting thousands in cash in my house. The wife just won't tolerate spending money on my car. Thank God I finished the thing enough to drive it or it would sit longer.

There's lots left in it. Ask speedtigger. The cam is really "mild".

In the end 9's NA with this motor I think is my end goal and it's possible.

Funny thing is, if he gets much faster he might be gear limited if all things.
Actually the harder he can grip and launch it will drop his trap speed, all other things equal. Spinning a bit generally nets higher traps...I've seen it a hundred times. A sticky track combined with negative DA might get him there though.
