When is it hitting the track again and what mph are you shooting for?
Sometime in summer. Should be high 130’s.. would love to crack 140. At these speeds it takes a fair bit of power to gain a MPH

I’m not convinced it’s 800 crank. My drivetrain loss would be less than most people’s

And yes LLSR ftw. Like bringing a gun to a knife fight.
Getting a bar put in so I can run it at the track. Also have a nitrous plate to put in it at some point

Mad Tuning Skillz there!
Very few supposed "Pro Tuners" have ability or willingness
to tune such a combo!
I had\have a great tuning mentor who doesn’t like to give up lol. He still helps me out.

There’s still some bucking down low but working on it. I don’t mind the Cam. Others wouldn’t like it. But man it screams up top and just doesn’t back down!

We found when Street tuning it that it was maxing out dynamic airflow... so we had to scale the tune 25% before it would stop maxing out! So we were speculating on the HP based on the dynamic airflow and injector percentage... we were kinda blown away by what the calculations were coming out to but then the Dyno basically came in right at the same numbers...

Also wondering if the ECU is hard coded to limit to 8000. It still hits the limiter there even when set at 8300. But there’s a drivetrain abuse table that you can’t set over 8000 so I’m wondering if that’s what’s doing it

Should get some of those magic coil packs and some super quad spark nuclear iridium spark plugs and pick up another 30 horsepower.

Awesome power. This cam is clearly much better matched to the rest of the package. Your first cam was comically small for the amount of power and revs you got out of this thing.

I thought it was a 3/4 race cam! Seriously, this is definitely one of the best builds I've seen in here. Hard work and smart research pays off!

Yeah the first Cam was specd for a Stock bottom end ls3. This one is better matched for sure
