Default Ls3 434

I posted this in my build thread but I should have posted it here.

Here's my build.

ERL sleeved ls2 4.155 bore
Wiesco -8cc flat top pistons
Compstar 24x 4.00 stroke crank
Compstar rods
Advanced induction 280cc LS3 heads
Johnson 2116 lifters
Comp Cam BSR shaft rockers
Fast lshr intake
Speed engineering 1 3/4 headers
3 inch exhaust
Pat G custom cam 241/250 .630/615
Stock ls2 silver 90mm throttle body
Stock ls3 injectors
gto e40 ecm
gto t56
Ford 9 inch 3.50 gear ratio
Monster lt1s clutch

The engine has about 700 miles on it and it is being remotely tuned by Pat G. I installed the new fast hi ram and I haven't returned the car for the new intake yet.

I'd say those are good numbers for a relatively mild cam.... plus the 9" eats up some power. That GTO T56 has awful gearing with the 2.97 1st.. you should look into the new T56 Magnum F style transmission with a 2.66 1st. Pretty much a direct bolt in aside from changing to a 31 spline yoke.

A 102/105mm throttlebody would free up a few more ponies.... plus 1 7/8" long tubes....

You stand to set a new record for power gained via throttle body swap.

I plan to upgrade to the new f body magnum eventually and a 102 throttle body and better headers are planned.

When are you going to retune this with the new intake?
I want to see the final figures.
So far it looks not too bad.

Probably in a month or two, I plan on swapping to a 1 7/8 header and a NW102 throttle body. But I have some noisy gears in my rear end that I need to adress first.

I'm installing a NW102 tb, ARH 2 inch headers and retuning for the intake, headers, and tb. Any guesses what it'll pick up

Cool.....because posting duration and valve lift tells you next to nothing compared to posting duration and LSA/advance.

TB + 2" primaries + retune = 50 HP peak and as much as 40 TQ after peak is my guess. A serious success in my book!

Are you going to keep the factor LS3 injectors on there? At what level are they maxed out?

I was asking the same thing a couple of weeks ago. I am sure many people are curious how well the new FAST MANI. Is going to perform .

It'll be awhile more likely two to three months. I'm in the middle of rewiring the car and swapping out a new rear end. I'm just as eager as you guys to see what this intake can do.

LS3 injectors are the same as ls7 injectors, I've seen people make 575-600rwhp with them. I'm going to log my next dyno pull the see what duty cycle they are running at.
