The car finally made it on the chassis dyno for final tune and pulls over at Cordes Performance Racing (CPR).
This is done with the Performance Design pTR intake - long runner version (carbon version of the FAST LSXHR), 105mm throat on intake with a NW112 throttle body with a 105mm adapter.
I will repost the engine dyno numbers with the FAST LSXHR - long runner with 102 throttle body below for comparison sake. This run was on Ignite Red 114.
Look at the peak numbers on both the chassis and engine dyno for an interesting reference point.

Chassis dyno pulls were made on both pump AZ 91 (red trace) and E54 (green trace) ethanol blend fuel (what Az has for E85).

Car was run on Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ run flats, 35 psi tire pressure, 10W-40 weight oil, and 3.90 rear gear.

Note the chassis dyno peak horsepower RPM's with the NW112 , versus the peak engine dyno horsepower RPM's with the 102 throttle body.

Here's the engine dyno number when we used the Holley Hi Ram base with a billet top and the larger 6500 throttle body.... peak horsepower RPM comes in close to what the chassis dyno number reads with the NW112 in place when we are not held back by the 102 throttle body....
Not an apple to apple comparison, but the NW112 allowed me to peak higher in the RPM range with the FAST long runner setup

Have to say I am surprised. With that 105 adapter are you seeing lower map vs ambient at wot?

I don't have the logs for the pulls, but my tuner did say 97Kpa on start of pull, dropping to 94 Kpa.
I don't know what the weather station on the dyno was reading at the time, but correction factor is 1.04.

Chances are 97 was ambient. Do dropping to 94, there is a restriction but not a big one.

Probably so....... we are over 1300' ASL , it was relatively cool by Phoenix standards (mid 70's) with a higher than normal dew point because of the rain showers.
Dropping to 94 kPa with a 5" intake tube and filter.
I will log some real time stuff in the coming days on the street to get some more values.

Phoenix? For sure ambient around 97. When I lived there, that is what I always saw in my koeo logs.

100HP drop from engine to chassis is about right. Seems like that's what happens in the Vette usually with 3.90s.

3.42s are closer to 80HP drop from what I've seen.

Yep....pretty close to my experiences as well.
65-80 rwhp on 3.42's......another 3% loss when going to 3.90's+.

I find this difficult to believe. My LS3 was 560 at the wheels with 4.10s..... I cant imagine it making 660 crank

Stock C6 Z06 chassis dyno anywhere from 440-470........ I personally believe the 440-445 number. 505 SAE crank hp to 440 is the 65 hp differential....with stock 3.42 gearing and 325/30/19 on stock 19x12 GM Speedlines. 12% driveline loss is 60 HP........
