408 300 shot 5.6s at 3300 lbs.
550 whp.
62cc prc cathedral heads. All kinda budget stuff. 6.0 block. Off the shelf assembly. 260/270 hydraulic cam. 14.1

fyi dont buy weisco pistons if going e. The coating on the piston flakes off and plugs the pickup tube. Call weisco for coating choices.

Dang sounds rowdy, any videos of that 14.1 408? Has to sound good and probably pretty responsive. How’s its manners on the street?

I do have some videos I can send you privately.
it's not very street friendly. Has 5500 stall and doesn't run very well till about 3k rpm. Lol. I do love driving it around on the street, but would not drive very far. Tranny gets warm with the big stall.

Yeah that’s a big can for a 408 and on the street, with that much compression does it run hot at all? I bet it’s fun on the street still.

I’m building a 418CI 15+ CR with Solid roller and 11* LS3 heads. Cam is a 277-288@.050 .800-.775 lift. Wanting to take it to LME to see what it will do. Shooting for 2HP per CI.

Stop calling it an LS3. An LS3 is an aluminum block.

Google Ls3 iron Block?

It's a 6.0 that's Bore to a LS3. So there is No iron block Ls3. Besides that name a LS iron Block non Lsx that comes with a bore size of .060 from the factory?

If something is custom built and has LS3 heads 99% of the time people are going to call it an LS3 lol.
