Default LQ9 243s TSP Torquer V2 90/90 Boltons

I am pretty satified, I was hoping for ~400 rwhp locked up. I've never been too concerned with dyno numbers as my car has always run appropriate track times with 40-50 rwhp less than we typically see on the internet. Maybe it is an Arizona thing lol.

His dyno reads lower than others i find on the internet. Maybe its more honest. Id trust nic and joe they know what they are doing. Ask Nic if he knows if converter locked up. Here is my dyno for an ls2 402 hci
Converter was NOT fully locking up

Read your sheet at the bottom. Converter not locking. Will read lower than usual.

Is the compression good on that LQ9? Whats your elevation? and how much timing did you end up with?

I was aware of that and I am not unsatisfied with the results. That is why I put I was satisfied in the first sentence lol. Cordes did not build my car, I did. I assume Joe is the owner of the shop, I don't know him other than I have seen vehicles with the Cordes stickers go like nearly 200 mph in the 1/2 mile. They build some awesome vehicles. Nic has tuned my car like 4 times over the years, he is the only guy I trust to tune it!

I appreciate you looking into it though

I am here in Tempe, AZ where it is ~1,000 feet. I have not compression checked the motor since I got it from the junkyard, but I would imagine if the torque converter would stay locked it might be 400-410 rwhp. My tuner did not give me any timing info, I can find out if you would like.

To compare. I had an ls1 sbe, ls6 intake and 799 heads untouched, 222/228 113 cam headers and catback and that made like 380 370 as well. This was tuned by nic af az dyno chip. Id email nic and ask him what he thinks.
numbers were Through an auto with the budget circle d converter and 10 bolt.

probably hasn't taken it. Our tracks are mostly closed rn. They cancelled many events, raised the rates quite high for entry and imposed covid restrictions.

Well to report back, I ran my buddy's M6 GTO from a 55 roll that has a custom spec small 23x/23x with prc 243 ported heads and he pulled a length maybe a bit more on me to 135 ish.

He put down 450 rwhp on this dyno so seemingly my car is fine.

GTOs are also a bit heavier. Roll racing is not a good way to gauge a car
