Thanks,

Sweet numbers! Did you by chance make a dyno pull without the Spintech muffers, whether engine or chassis dyno? I'm using 3" Pro Shoot Out race mufflers this year, and some people claim they're restrictive. Spintech of course says otherwise. Was wondering if you have any opinions...

My engine dyno was done with dynatech stepped headers 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 with merge collectors that went through a couple bullet mufflers so this exhaust setup was pretty good flowing on the engine dyno. my chassis dyno was all through the spintechs though.

See thread https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamometer-results-comparisons/197783-got-some-chassis-dyno-numbers-my-408-today.html

Futral was saying in that thread that spintechs have been known to be somewhat hp robbing because they have used cutouts with them and seen good gains. I may try a couple of cutouts just to see what happens

Congratulations! Peak numbers look real good.

I have been planning on a set-up in the neighborhood of 400cid. If I can get these kind of numbers out of it I'd be ecstatic.

Every tire I bolted on I thought to my self. slower,,, slower,, slower,,, and slower.

Hows your stroker coming along?
lol yeah I am pretty sure these wheels take 5+rwhp..but who knows
maybe I will try to dyno with both just for fun.
My car is coming along slow like always. I finally have all the parts now though and My heads/shortblock should be done in about 2 weeks, well thats what they say
I'll post the results when I finally get this sucker on the dyno.

haha lol but you have carma with my car, it seems you have seen my tail lights a couple times in the past if I am not mistaken

When you are ready to take the "Gentlemans Car" out for a spin I'll be ready, I have a strange feeling that Sam might have something a little different to say now

hahaah rolf . If only I was a moderator I'd erase your post
I have a hunch that the hp gap may be a bit smaller by the time we race

Let's see here.. You would never race anywhere there was concrete. The last time we raced was almost 3 years ago and you wanted to run me with a bad clutch. You almost ran into me when I was trying to go by you. Hmmmmm.

Sam gave his honest opinion. Sam test drive cars all the time and after driving my car started making changes to his customers 03/04 Cobras to make sure they could keep up with me on motor. People take in mind Sam is a tuner that can pretty much modify anything. Almost every local Cobra/Supra/WRX/EVO/F-body/etc goes to Sam to go a little faster. After driving my car he asked several of the 03/04 Cobras that were already running 19-20lbs of boost on Apten or stock eaton blower to come back. Now all of these cars run a little nitrous as well. I toyed around with one of the cars one night. This was not an official ***** to the walls race for me, but for the 03 Cobra guy he was on full blast. Needless to say with cutout closed, passenger and shifting below 5800rpm thru the first 2 gears because of no traction. I put a car on the 03 Cobra on the first demo of the FMS 408ci and the second run I was a fender ahead b4 the Cobra missed 4th. I also gave the 03 Cobra the move on the first run and the second run I gave a car and the hit.

I could treat Mike K. like I do all of the local racers and make him go through the tier process and work his way up to me. I personally think he should run those Cobras b4 wanting to get blasted I mean, wanting to run me. I am sure Mike K.'s car is fast. Hell I rode in it and it brought a smile to my face that did not go away until I picked up my FMS SS.

Mike K. it is going to be a fun run
