Don't act like you know anything about cars. I've only seen your car go 13.00's in the 1/4, must be a bad driver mod.

Aww, did I hurt the little guy's feelings? Why waste your time and money. Here, I'll just enact what would happen if we raced. I'd give you a head start & you'd look in your rear view and see this than a couple seconds later you'd be looking ahead through my back window and seeing this

Than I'd be getting paid and go out for some fun

The reason for the low dyno numbers was the crush bent 2.5" dual exhaust system. At the crush bends, the diameter of the exhaust shrunk to about 2" resulting in a major flow problem. Replacing it with the 2.5" mandrel bent dual exhaust from Lane's solved the problem.

I was trying to show that a mandrel bent 2.5" dual exhaust is far superior to a crush bent 2.5" dual exhaust....in my case it was superior by 32 rwhp. (308 to 340 rwhp by switching to mandrel bends)

My car dynoed 340 rwhp and 340 rwtq with Lane's duals, MAC headers, a lid, and stock PCM tuning. No other engine mods. I don't consider those to be low numbers at all.

Yeah your final number's look right where they should be. Add an LS6 intake and you'll be close to if not at 350rwhp.

Lid, MAC headers, Lane's 2.5" mandrel bent duals w/ Dr. Gas x-pipe and 14" Magnaflow mufflers: 340 rwhp, 340 rwtq

PCM had stock tuning in all three cases.
NOBR8KSS, you were right. Speed Inc had a look at my duals and said that "if we had a wall of shame, those should be on it." That'll teach me to try to get a performance exhaust at a MERLIN. (at least I didn't pay for it...)

I am going to fix this and get it done RIGHT.

Those numbers seem to be good, allthough I put down 322 rwhp and 327 rwtq with my 99 Z through an A4, with only lid, hooker lts ory and everyones favorite exhaust, flowmaster, guess I have a factory freak or something....

Apparently the production tolerances for these cars are pretty wide. A friend just dynoed his '00 with almost the same mods (he has the FAST 78 mm intake) and his SS put down 357 rwhp.

The results are in: Gained 26.87 RWHP from switching from sh*tty merlin muffler "duals" to Speed Inc 3" duals dumped. (366.11 with the cam and old duals; 392.98 with cam and new duals)

That's what you get when you get it done right! Don't make the same mistake I did.
