342rwhp and 348rwtq. bad tune hookers, lid, catback, no cats. guy said if properly tuned might have seen 10-20 more hp and tq. I didnt know the tune was that importaint on so few mods

I made 322/331 with lid and cutout on stock catback At TSP.

Yeah once you go full bolt on, a tune will help you 15-20 hp solid. Headers typically make a car run rich, not ridiculously so, but enough to not be making peak power. My car went from a 13.1 af to a 12.7 af with the headers and true duals. Yes, I'd say a tune should be your next mod.

01 Z28 M6, bone stock, 70k miles made 310hp & 329tq. Haven't dyno'd recently but my time slips @ the track show considerable gains from an air lid & exhaust.

99 T/A A4 315hp & 325tq, mods are 3500rpm stall, pacesetters, straight exhaust, ported bkk tb, lid, filter, and untuned. Also this was on a Superflow dyno which is a chassis dyno, more like a mustang dyno than a dynojet. Also numbers were in STP i believe instead of SAE.

i started this thread a while back to get an idea of where i was at.. u dynoed 314 with a 98 motor and no ls6 intake and 322 after the tune..

i had lt1pnyklr, gary tell me there was no way my car would dyno 315+, just now way... that id be lucky to get 305rwhp, so before i ran my mouth or wrote checks my car couldn't cash, i figured id ask what others did!
