Default First Dyno Results

Hey guys, i have a 99 ws-6 with
LT's, ORY, SLP LM, Granatelli MAFS, Slp lid, SLP Bellow, no egr, no A.I.R., and i had it tuned. It put down 323rwhp, and 339.9Torque. This was on a dynojet. It does have 4.10gears. I was kinda hoping for 335hp. What do you guys think? Is that respectable?

thanks

I actually ended up going with the flowtech lt's, i know they are the cheapest ones, but do you think that would have anything to do with the low #'s . Or maybe i just need more than these 3 pulls and more tunning?

I did the tuning on the car. I also logged it with HPtuners during each dyno run, no knock retard anywhere in the runs. I tuned it straight across the board for 13.0 and used 28*-29* of timing. I was expecting it to make a little more, but it is completely stock besides the headers and exhaust. No ported TB or pulley and I'm sure the 4.10's are hurting it a little.

I'm sure with a LS6 intake, underdrive pulley, and ported TB it will make much better numbers.

I'll try and post up the graphs later tonight or in the morning.

id say take out the maf, get an ls6 intake, your 410s are eating up some hp, so yeah i guess that is about right, with a 3.42 rear and an ls6 intake, im sure you would be up around 20rwhp more

Here is Kevin's before and after tuning dyno. The baseline was done with timing already in the car. The only difference between the two runs was adding a touch more of timing in the midrange and leaning out the A/F.

Hey Gomer, of course im sure im not the best of drivers but when i push my car to redline and shift out i have so much problems with wheel spin. Probably because of the cheap street tires + 4.10 gear. But any way, after looking at the graph, until i get better at driving it, do you think i might do better just shifting out at 5300 rpm. That looks like the best peak power that is closest to the 4500 rpm torque spike?

KG, here is another comparison. My 2001 SS put down 345 rwhp/361 rwtq with SLP Lid, K&N, Granatelli MAF, SLP Longtubes, ORY, and a cutout. My air/fuel was 13.2 straight across. M6 with 10 bolt and 3.42s. The cutout alone gave me 10 rwhp/10rwtq when I uncapped it on the second run. Get an LS6 intake and a cutout, and you'll probably have around the same numbers.

Just let him see what my car puts down on motor after adding your ported TB, I'm sure the results will speak for themselves. Might want to go ahead and get him a TB ready Bo.

My 99SS put down 328/340 with similar mods. I still have the 3.42s which would put me closer to your #s if I had 4.10s.
