This is probably one of the best dyno sheets I've ever seen
The TQ is awesome and flat and the car peaks in a realistic rpm.

This setup in my car would fly...
Very impressive

Thanks The car really does pull hard from 3000 rpm all the way to the end of the powerband, and it's got lots on the low end so i think it's a good setup for a daily driver.

You have Absolute Speed heads that were finished by Futral and they didn't flow 300? Either way GREAT #'s!

I should have specified. Allan only worked on the exhaust side, and he picked up 20cfm all the way through it. 230cfm isn't too shabby for exhaust (with no pipe!) on 5.3's.
As far as the intake numbers, I know they don't have amazing peak numbers but they have good midrange which, I believe, helps out a lot with my torque curve.
Furthermore, the bench they were flowed on is known to flow a little lower than most others. I was very pleased with the heads.

Do you( or Allan) think there's more power left in it if the intake side was worked over some more?

I honestly don't know how much could be gained. I think I'm really pushing the limits of where it could be, especially if you consider the fact that there was probably another 15 rwhp to be gained if I'd been running 3.42's and stock wheels. The flow sheet Jay @ AS provided had them flowing 309/219, so my intake numbers are probably around par with everyone elses, I just used a bench that flows lower (and possibly more realistic) numbers. Just to let you know, I dug up my old post to show the improvement Allan made. . These were the numbers that they flowed on the bench we used, at the far right you can see the original flow numbers compared to what Allan made happen in the middle. Very impressive to say the least. As far as what Allan thinks as to whether or not intake work would help power, he'd have to chime in himself because I have no idea :
Intake.........Exhaust...........Exhaust (pre allan)
.100 68-------- 59 -------------58
.200 135--------109-------------108
.300 196-------153-------------149
.400 244-------186-------------165
.500 277-------211-------------178
.600 299-------224-------------196
.650 293-------227-------------205
.700 290-------230-------------206

That looks to be a great combo. I wonder if there would be any thing to gain by going with a F13?

Blake, I'm glad everything turned out well with the car. Those are very impressive #s with your 4:10s/heavy wheels and small cam.

Tell Jason he needs a FAST 90 intake/TPIS 90 TB to keep up now. lol

Great numbers!! It's posts like this that make me feel like I should have my car retuned. I know there has to be more left in my setup. Jay's heads really are a good product I just think that the place I had tune it didn't really tune it all that well.

Great power man. God Luck with it. Just gotta ask you how old are the heads? Are they the CNC'ed ones?

I made 437/407 with the full belt tonight with a generic tune, the car has never been tuned on the dyno. This was with a stock 39,000 mile stock shortblock, GMPP LS6 heads, LS6 intake, Shaner S2 T.B., 12 bolt, 4:10's, and 18 X 10.5" Motorsport Z06 wheels. Blake what rearend did you have a 7.5 or a 12 bolt??
