go dyno at the place you did the old setup and overlay the curves, thats what i really want to see.

I'm with ya on this. Gonna look at the runfile in the morning.
I'm thinking 440-450rwhp is an accurate range (even 450 being optimistic).

Bah, these guys gave me the wrong runfiles on diskette. I don't have the correct info to look at.

I'm trying to set up a tuning session at the 425rwhp dyno for this Thurs., where I'll get comprehensive data to look at. I'm afraid we're gonna have to wait 'till then to get to the bottom of this.

I've gone back to the shop (the shop who called me with the 468rwhp claim) and asked them to give me the correct runfiles (they gave me the wrong ones yesterday).
Apparently, they were not taking the engine to the 6900rpm limiter yesterday, as they told me they were unsure as to where the limiter was. The second graph below confirms this . They did not log the open cutout run (they claimed the 468 run was with the open cutouts).
Take this graph with a grain of salt until later this week, when I retune and redyno at the other shop which gave me the 425 baseline........

Interesting.
I just realized that the incorrect runfiles they supplied me yesterday were actually logged from my old Cam-Only setup (October of 2003), which was:
TSP231/237, SLP LT's, One cutout in the I, Pulley, Stock unported TB.
Hmmm..... here's the overlay of that old setup compared to the new, current setup. They definately did not take my engine to the limiter yesterday.

I'm confused, can you tell us which color is which setup on the graphs? Sorry if I'm just an idiot...I just don't understand which graph is your old setup, new setup, etc. Thanks

Hey, no prob.
The 1st graph shows Friday's pulls. It looks like they kept letting off somewhere around 5500 rpm until they took it to 6000 rpm once.

The 2nd graph shows that 6000rpm pull overlayed with a run from Oct. 2003 (last time I dynoed my car at this shop).

The info is patchwork at best. Again, they never provided me with the log for the 468rwhp pull they claimed to have witnessed. I'm gonna have a clean dyno session and retune done later this week at a different shop.

My car was getting some suspension mounts welded on at Friday's shop. They did no engine work to the car. I just asked them to throw the car on their dyno out of curiosity.

Does it feel like you picked up that much more power?

I'd say its very possible! Mine was 442 before the 90mm setup and it picked up a good bit of power! I'd be interested in the numbers from the other shop when you get them.

Technically speaking, if I did that swap it'd put me over 500 rwhp.

I'm running stock untouched LS6 intake, 1 3/4 headers, and one cutout.

Hmmmm, 500 rwhp with a stock exhaust valve and 230/232 cam????????
